Embark on an unforgettable journey through the Baltic States — from golden dunes and medieval cities to charming manors and vibrant capitals. With your own car, you’ll enjoy the freedom to explore at your leisure, while staying in carefully selected 3–4-star hotels and joining private guided tours in each major city.

Day 1 – Departure from Kiel

Your Baltic adventure begins as you board the ferry from Kiel to Klaipėda. Settle into your comfortable cabin and enjoy a relaxing night at sea — the perfect way to unwind before your journey through Lithuania begins.

Day 2 – Arrival in Klaipėda

Arrive in Klaipėda and check in at your hotel. In the evening, take a stroll through the picturesque old town, once known as Memel, with its narrow cobblestone streets and welcoming cafés.

Day 3 – Exploring Klaipėda

After breakfast, discover Klaipėda on a guided walking tour. This historic port — the oldest city in Lithuania — combines maritime charm with youthful energy. Admire the restored half-timbered houses and feel the medieval spirit in the streets still named after ancient guilds such as Baker, Shoemaker, and Fisherman.

Day 4 – The Curonian Spit

Today’s private guided excursion (approx. 5 hours) takes you to the stunning Curonian Spit, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Discover vast dunes, quaint fishing villages, and endless sandy beaches. Highlights include the Thomas Mann House, the Fishermen’s Church, the Great Dune with its sundial, and the charming resort of Nida.

Day 5 – Klaipėda – Šiauliai – Rundāle – Riga (approx. 335 km)

Depart for Latvia, stopping first at Lithuania’s famous Hill of Crosses, a deeply moving pilgrimage site. Continue to Rundāle Palace, a baroque masterpiece and former residence of the Duke of Courland. Arrive in Riga, Latvia’s vibrant capital.

Day 6 – Riga: Art Nouveau & Old Town Charm

Day 7 – Riga – Pärnu – Tallinn (approx. 310 km)

Day 8 – Tallinn: Medieval and Modern

Join your private guide for a city tour of Tallinn. Wander through the fairy-tale old town — one of the best preserved in Europe — with landmarks such as Toompea Hill, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and the medieval towers “Tall Hermann” and “Fat Margaret.” Conclude your tour in the trendy Rotermann Quarter, where history meets modern design.

Day 9 – Tallinn – Tartu (approx. 196 km)

Continue to Tartu, Estonia’s oldest city and a lively university town. Highlights include the 18th-century Town Hall, Toomemägi Hill with its cathedral ruins, and St. John’s Church with its medieval terracotta sculptures. Don’t miss the romantic “Kissing Students” fountain in the main square.

Day 10 – Through Gauja National Park to Mikelis (approx. 330 km)

Travel through Gauja National Park, Latvia’s most scenic nature reserve, stretching along the Gauja River Valley. Visit charming Cēsis, explore Gutman’s Cave, and admire Turaida Castle, built by the Livonian Brothers of the Sword. End your day in Mikelis, surrounded by peaceful countryside.

Day 11 – Mikelis – Pakruojis – Taujėnai – Vilnius (approx. 244 km)

Return to Lithuania, visiting the beautifully restored Pakruojis Manor, with its 43 historical buildings, brewery, and “Love Island” on the river lake. Continue to Taujėnai Manor, where old-world elegance meets modern comfort. Arrive in Vilnius, the Lithuanian capital.

Day 12 – Discovering Vilnius

Enjoy a private guided tour of Vilnius, a city of stunning baroque architecture. Visit St. Casimir’s Church, the Gate of Dawn, St. Peter and Paul Church, and Vilnius University. Optionally, take an excursion to Trakai Castle, beautifully set on an island in Lake Galvė.

Day 13 – Vilnius – Along the Nemunas River – Klaipėda (approx. 326 km)

Drive back to Klaipėda along the scenic Nemunas River, dotted with medieval castles and lookout towers. Stop at Raudonė Castle for panoramic views, and visit Panemunė Castle and Pagramantis Regional Park. In the evening, board the DFDS Seaways ferry back to Kiel.

Day 14 – Return to Kiel

Relax on your voyage home and take in the sea views as you recall your unforgettable journey through the Baltics. Arrival in Kiel around 19:30.
